FIELD: drying of wood. SUBSTANCE: drying device has system for discharging the condensed water, vacuum line, several containers arranged in succession, heating unit which has two lines of primary and secondary heating arranged in succession in all containers in the counter-flow order. Outlet of the primary heating line is connected with inlet of the secondary heating line through cooling unit. Outlet of the secondary heating line is connected with inlet of the primary heating line through heater. Sectional containers have two vertical platforms with wedges mounted on them. Wedges of each platform are located in a spaced relation for the material being dried between edges of other platform. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 4 dwg
