FIELD: TV equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves separation of light flux into three color-separated fluxes. Converter of optical signal is illuminated through filter which tiles have three colors. Then light is converted to video signal. Signals U, U and U are generated by commutation of video signal with control signals generated by comparison of current value of video signal to stored video signals. Device for generation of video signal has lens, turning mirror, optical-to-video signal converter, commutator, frame memory units, illuminator, switch, control unit, inlaid light filter. Filter for first claim has color separation tiles, light-sensitive layer. Filter for second claim has color separation tiles, lens and light-sensitive layer.
