FIELD: medical engineering; oncology. SUBSTANCE: rhinopharyngeal forceps used for biopsy and removal of neoplasms are provided with movable thrust plate 5 designed for drawing off soft palate and positioned along branches 1 and 2 as viewed from curved ends. Working end 7 of plate 5 is bent parallel to working jaws of branches 1 and 2 and has through hole 8. Flat end of plate 5 is fastened to axle 6 for reciprocating motion at engagement and separation of branches 1 and 2. On the other side of forceps opposite plate through hole, there is mirror 13 whose axle is rigidly secured to axle 6. EFFECT: greater convenience and simplicity. 2 cl, 4 dwg
