METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF EDIBLE COMMON SALT Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: at cutting of a mine working in the bed of rock salt of a composite layer structure the rock is sized on a grate for separation of big lumps of salt (more than 100 mm). They are used for production of salt lick for cattle. The remaining rock is sized according to size - M + 0.2 mm, where M - thickness of the minimum conditional interbed. The thickness of the minimum conditional interbed can be determined according to layer trenching. Sizing according to size - 0.2 mm can be accomplished by screening from the aggregate by air stream. Salt of sizes + M mm - 0.2 mm is dispatched for filling of worked out chambers. Salt - M + 0.2 mm can be used as edible one with crushing of it according to grades with different sizes of grinding.
