FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: oil is vacuum-pumped out of oil- and gold-containing sand reservoirs through production wells, while chlorinated water is injected through injection wells to maintain formation pressure at pH not exceeding 4. When flowing from injection to production well, chlorinated water dissolves gold to saturation. Gold-containing solution is pumped off. When concentration of gold in solution is conditioned, solution is subjected to process conversion to recover gold. Exhausted solution is rechlorinated. EFFECT: enabled recovery of gold after termination of oil production.
