FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: after analyzing changeability of rock salt in plan and determining density of prospecting net, geological prospecting wells are drilled, layer by layer core samples are taken, and chemical analysis of rock salt is carried out to check for correspondence of rock salt to current state standards. Interlayers of common salt relating to first and second grades and of non-standard salt are determined. Selective extraction of second grade salt is effected by means of continuous cutter-loader. Then first grade salt is mined by way of undercutting and brought to required standard particle size, and extracted non-standard salt is directed to salt processing factory.
