FIELD: applying protective-decorative coverings. SUBSTANCE: initially the first layer of enamel of the base of alkide-melaminoformaldehyde resin having viscosity 18-23 s is applied on the surface of samovar, enamel's expense being 30-50 g/m². After sustaining on open air within 20-40 s the second layer of said enamel is applied, enamel's expense being 100-120 g/m². Thus prepared covering is hardened within 60 min at 120 C.
