SUBSTANCE: new method is characterized in that head skin was incised from occipital tubercle to auricle floor root, musculus temporalis was parted from its attachment area along occipital crest and then bent outwards, supraaural prominence of temporal bone was released, semi-spherical recess 1.5 mm deep was drilled at distance of 2 mm from prominence top inwardly, head of heat exchanger thermoprobe was tightly fit in this recess and its load-carrying portion was rigidly secured to occipital bone crest using fast-curing plastic. EFFECT: lower rate of traumatism and high accuracy and selectivity of thermal effect on ceptors of horizontal semi-circular canal under conditions of repeated chronic experiments. 3 dwg
