FIELD: microbiological industry, evaluation of avermectine activity. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of cultures of avermectine, introduction of rice nematodes in quantity of 10-20 species into each culture, cultivation of nematodes at 28-36 C, pH 5.5-8.0 for 1-3 h, calculation of total quantity of nematodes in each culture of avermectine, quantity of actively movable nematodes, quantity of nematodes with disturbed mobility and quantity of immobile nematodes; calculation of death rate percentage of nematodes in each culture by formula given in invention description; finding of concentration of investigated specimen of avermectine at which nematode death rate amounts to 50% , and determination of nematode activity by comparing the 50% death rate of investigated specimen of avermectine with reference standard of the known concentration.
