SUBSTANCE: method ensures controlling the pressure of working fluid in gear switching mechanisms prior to successive gear shifting based on monitoring and memorizing information on the character of movement of transmission gear elements in the course of preceding shifting. The device includes analyzing unit, switching mechanism with electropneumatic valves, pickups of speed, position of gear transmission elements, air pressure in actuating mechanisms, and pressure regulator.
