FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has annular sleeve eccentric relative to the axis of rotation of steering shaft and provided with a slot to receive retractable bolt of a lock, gate with bolt lock and slot to receive key, mechanism for simulating lock opening, pins, and alternating fixed spacers carried by a common shaft. Rear wall of lock casing has screw with cam and slot to receive key bit. The cam can engage with the pins. The device also includes mechanism for blocking the latching mechanism of the lock comprising a bolt with recess to receive key, two rods extending through holes made in plate and affixed to thrust plate. The pins can engage with slots made at the surface of the latch. The distance between the screw and plate is equal to the width of key bit. End of latch received in the slot of the sleeve is square to extend to the depth of recess, whereas the other end of the latch has groove with threaded portion to receive a screw key.
