FIELD: security facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for locking or interlocking steering gears of different vehicles. According to proposed method, lock is installed on member, for instance, on lower flange of coupling connecting steering shaft 16 with steering mechanism 17 for enclosing the member over perimeter with covering of branch attachment parts, and length of thrust member is adjusted, if required. Head of branch screw is set flush with housing, and part of member with screw is arranged inside slot of eye 4. Two eyes are installed in lock housing being secured from one side by axle of housing which, in its turn, is locked by axle of eye remote from lock mechanism. Axle of eye 4 adjoining lock mechanism engages with locking pin spring-loaded from one side and getting into cantilever ends of eyes. Axle of eye 4 adjoining lock mechanism is spring-loaded and it engages with cam of lock mechanism. Thrust member is made in form of one or several lengthened parts of lock.

EFFECT: improved reliability of locking of steering gear, facilitated mounting.
