FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: raising a sunken object consists in creating positive buoyancy by means of an external source of buoyancy, for example, in form of surface watercraft and submerging the grip by means of lower-hoisting gear. Ropes are secured on two or more self-propelled surface watercraft, for example on tugs by means of towing gears and towing winches; these ropes are freely passed through end blocks and are rove in the tackle block of the grip mounted at the ends of upper levers of the grip; after the grip (in the open position) has been lowered to the sunken object by means of ropes and lower-hoisting gear and has been properly laid on the sunken object by means of messenger lines and marker buoys, check of the grip position relative to the sunken object is effected by means of underwater TV cameras and the underwater TV guidance or sonar beacons and stations, ropes are hove-in by means of towing winches and by running of self-propelled surface watercraft, for example tugs on opposite or diverging courses followed by towing the sunken object to shallow water. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
