FIELD: manufacture of coating for cast iron products. SUBSTANCE: the enamel comprises the following components (wt % ): 45-48 silicon oxide; 4-5 boron oxide; 4.5-6.1 aluminium oxide; 5-8.2 calcium oxide; 15-17.3 sodium oxide; 4-65 potassium oxide; 1-1.5 titanium oxide; 1.5-2 lithium oxide; 1-2 antimony oxide; 5.8-6.5 ferric oxide; and 5-5.7 zinc oxide. The enamel characteristics: the spreadability 48-57 mm; the firing temperature 800 C. EFFECT: improved properties of the enamel. 1 tbl
