FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of pressure change after a narrow-down device maintaining the pressure applied to the device constant; determination of the narrow-down device cross-section change, with the number of pressure changes not less than the number of measured parameters. Furthermore, pressure is change several times before the narrow-down device and for each pressure level well operating parameters are determined; a dependance is determined for said parameters over the wellhead pressure; parameters are adjusted for the actual well operation wellhead pressure. The device of the invention comprises body 16 having inlet and outlet openings, resilient member 19 forming together with the body hydraulic chamber 20, and plunger 21 rigidly connected with resilient member 19. Body 16 has two holes 22 and 23, with a hole connectable to the inlet and outlet channels and another hole connectable to an actuator member mounted on the outlet channel.
