Abstract RU 2159903 C1

FIELD: dehumidification of gases or air through cooling and separation of condensed moisture in vortex tubes; lines of delivery of dehumidified compressed air in different pneumatic systems. SUBSTANCE: nozzle inlet of vortex tube is provided with unit for adjustment of passage area by means of flat wedge-shaped damper; it is also provided with heat exchanger for self-cooling of vortex tube wall which is connected to cold flow outlet branch pipe by means of pipe line. Provision is made for counter flow in cavity of heat exchanger relative to peripheral vortex in axial and circumferential directions. Inner cavity of heat exchanger is provided with screw swirler. Cold flow pipe line is provided with inertial and centrifugal drip pans mounted at heat exchanger inlet. Branch pipe located tangentially performs function of centrifugal drip pan together with round plate of separator located in cavity of heat exchanger. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency due to control of degree of dehumidification in wide range; intensified heat exchange of flows through vortex tube walls. 13 cl, 3 dwg
