FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: rotary machine has cylinder consisting of two nondetachable housings. Cooling channels and gas channels formed between housings are in communication with six hermetic spaces formed between adjacent blades and surfaces of rotor, covers and inner housing of cylinder. Spark plugs are installed in holes and combustion chamber is formed in sector between two blades in shallot widening zone where ratio of height of projection of foregoing blade over rotor surface to that of following blade is not less than 15:1 in cylinder. Regeneration channel are made in two-layer wall of cylinder square to generating lines in sector enclosing combustion and exhaust chamber. Beginning of each regeneration channel is connected with narrowing slot, and end, with widening slot between rotor and cylinder. Cover plate is installed at outer side of cylinder over sector of arrangement of regeneration channels. Cover plate is nondetachably fixed on cylindrical surface and is provided with collector grooves and cooling channels on inner cylindrical surface and cooling liquid inlet and outlet unions on outer cylindrical surface.
