FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: camshaft of engine is located in casing and connected to crankshaft through gear drive. The casing is positioned over cylinder heads at a distance therefrom. Pin of idle gear engageable with the gear of camshaft is passed through holes in wall of the casing to be centered in a hole provided in bracket mounted on the upper plane of the crankshaft case.
