FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: new method prescribes, first, separately applying 8-shape duplicating sutures on both sides to stumps of suspensory and round ligaments of uterus and carrying out peritonization per se by applying uninterrupted reciprocating suture after application of cover to region of stumps of above mentioned ligaments (right side) by securing posterior leaf of peritoneum by making 3 or 4 stitches from right to left and in the same manner securing anterior leaf by making 2 or 3 stitches but in the reverse direction and each time tightening up thus obtained set of sutures, thus proceeding up to region of left uterine appendages which is terminated by applied cover. EFFECT: greater ease of carrying out process of peritonization after completion of extirpation of uterus and one-hundred-percent sealing of peritoneal suture. 5 dwg
