FIELD: medicine, operative gynecology. SUBSTANCE: at first, one should do the needle with ligature through the lower stump's edge, then - through its upper edge. After that the needle should be passed through the middle of the stump by developing a double loop. Then ligature should be taken out to tighten its ends upon the upper stump's edge.
