FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding of seeds which passed preliminary grading by size and density of particles to fine cleaning on an inclined rough plane mounted at an angle to horizon closer to the angle of natural slope of the material. The seeds are repeatedly fed to the plane in a layer of 3-10 seed diameter thickness. After the seed layer rolls down through the inclined surface the seeds are separated by height into two parts by seed volume ratio of 0.3-0.7. The parts of the rolled down material are moved in counterflow along the lower edge of the plane. The seeds and impurities are discharged at opposite end edges of the plane. The seeds are charged to the inclined plane at distance l from the end edge of the plane at which the impurities are discharged l= Δ·exp[-2.33·10-2(100-B)-0.9] where L is the distance between the end edges (length) of the plane, B is the seed ratio.
