FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology and equipment for preparation of mixtures of loose materials with high heterogeneity of particles by size and density in chemical, food, microbiological, construction materials and other industries. Method for mixing loose materials involves dosed supply of mixture components into rotary drum, with deflecting elements fixedly fixed in parallel rows, organizing in the rotating drum a stream of incident particles, dividing the flow into parts enriched with the mixture components with a high inhomogeneity of the dispensing, imparting pulses to the drum loading end and discharging the mixture, in the flow of incident particles prior to its separation into parts, a shear gravitational flow of material is organized, components of the mixture with high inhomogeneity of dispensing are supplied from opposite ends of the drum, and the mixture is unloaded from the central part of the drum. Device for mixing loose materials comprises rotary drum with peripheral lifting-blade nozzle, equipped with units for dosed supply of components and unloading mix, stationary fixed in axial zone of drum rough slope, under lower edge of which are fixed with horizontal longitudinal rows with possibility of transverse movement in drum deflecting elements directed to opposite ends of drum in adjacent rows, units for dosed supply of components are installed on opposite ends of drum, rows of deflecting elements are fixed with the possibility of independent movement, and assembly of mixture unloading is arranged in its central part.

EFFECT: high quality of the ready mixture owing to autonomous selective action on segregated streams of separate components having high inhomogeneity of dispensing and high tendency to segregation in the mixture of components.
