FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: derivatives of catechin of the general formula I, , where R1 and R2 are similar or different - H, lower acyl or phenylcarbonyl; X - halogen or nitro-group; R3=[R4R5C=CH-], where at R4 - H, then R5 - phenylcarbonyl, non- or substituted with lower C1-C3-alkoxy, lower alkyl, hydroxyl, carboxyl- or nitro-group; at R4 - lower alkyl, then R5=C1-C3-acyl or hydroxy-C1-C3-alkyl or R4=R5-cyano- or lower alkoxycarbonyl, or R4-cyano, and R5 is C1-C5 alkoxycarbonyl, or R5= -C(O)-NH2 or -C(O)-NHR1 or -C(O)-N(R1)2, where R1 - lower alkyl or lower hydroxyalkyl, or R5 - piperazinyl substituted with lower alkyl; R3 - group [R4R5CH-CH], where R4 - H, and R5=-(CH)2-C(O)-R], in which R - OH or NR″R″′, where R″=H - H and R″′ - adamantyl or C1-C4-alkyl or R″=C1-C4-alkyl and R″′-propinyl. Reaction conditions: condensation of compounds of the general formula II, , and III, , with active methyl or methylene group is carried in the presence of acid or base as a catalyst yielding unsaturated compound, where double bond can be reduced. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
