FIELD: water-engineering works. SUBSTANCE: water-protecting screen is made of individual sections 1 consisting, each, of two reinforced nets of polymeric material with cells 3. Said nets are installed parallel with one another under hollow lifting-submerging floats 4 interconnected by pipes 5. Said floats are flexible and are provided with quick-detach joints. Each section 1 is connected with another section 1 by screw joints 6 and fasteners 7 secured to opposite sides of said sections 1. Fasteners may have the form of rings or buttons. Disposed at the lower end of each section 1 are ballast weights 8 and anchors 9 secured by fasteners 10 (cables or ropes). One of end floats has inlet pipe 11 for delivering water or air into screen floats. This pipe 11 is connected to pump or compressor installed on a floating craft or on shore. The other end float 4 is provided with valve 12 for discharging water or air from floats and pipes 5. A flexible connecting member 13 is installed alongside of all the floats while end floats 4 carry tackle blocks 14 and additional flexible member 15. EFFECT: improved design. 7 cl, 3 dwg
