FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: bottom- hole pressure and gas lift capacity at various specific flow rates of working agent are determined. Using subsurface remote pressure gage, bottom-hole pressure variations are monitored with working agent flow rate smoothly changed. Optimal operation regime is identified by the state when bottom-hole pressure surging ceases to generate. EFFECT: operation duty of water-encroached gas-lift wells optimized. 2 dwg
