FIELD: manufacture of pumps. SUBSTANCE: thermal pipe is filled with liquid. Volume to be evaporated is in the upper portion of pipe. Circular chamber is brought in communication with interior of pipe. Device for positive delivery of liquid being drawn off to the volume being evaporated and to the circular chamber for cooling the inner surface of pipe below evaporation zone is connected respectively to the lower portion of pipe volume and to the suction and delivery mains. For operation of the pump, heat and liquid to be handled are fed to the closed volume. Liquid is partially evaporated. Then liquid is forced by vapor thus formed at subsequent regeneration of heat by the cooler and cooling of inner surface of closed volume below zone of evaporation of liquid being drawn off. Positive delivery device is connected to reservoir filled with liquid being drawn off, to lower portion of closed volume or to delivery main. Then positive delivery device is connected in succession to portion of volume being evaporated during delivery and then to closed volume below evaporation zone during regeneration. Liquid is fed to portion of volume being evaporated and for cooling the inner surface in proportion with delivery pressure making use of delivery energy. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
