FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: level meter has post, disposed vertically, basic and additional light-guides, attached to the posts. Basic light guide is connected to light radiation source, and additional one is connected to radiation receiver. Level meter has a prism, which has base to be mounted at an angle of 0-15 deg to the axes of the posts. Side faces of the prism have cylindrical protrusions with spherical edges. Adjusting bushings and free ends of the light guides, disposed inside the bushings, are tightly mounted onto the edges. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 3 dwg
