FIELD: medicine, particularly, traumatology. SUBSTANCE: new method prescribes determining number of monocytes contained in 1 micro l of peripheral blood of injured patent in lying position in the morning following trauma and degree of post-traumatic edema. If edema is smaller than 2.5 cm and number of monocytes is below 2.5·102μl or edema is greater than 5 cm and number of monocytes is above 6.0·102μl, there are grounds for diagnosing disorder in mechanism of regeneration of osteal tissue in injured patients. EFFECT: new method allows promptly and simply diagnose disorder in mechanism of regeneration of osteal tissue.
