FIELD: traumatology; orthopedics; treatment of bone fractures by magnetotherapy. SUBSTANCE: as patient is admitted for treatment and at 7th day after transosseous osteosynthesis, patient's peripheral blood is analyzed to determine amounts of leucocytes, neutrophils, monocytes and lymphocytes therein. Thereupon, increment percentage of each of these indices is calculated and total (added-up) index is found. If total index is negative or if its increment does not exceed 15 %, inference is drawn on positive effect of electromagnetic field on bone tissue regeneration, whereas if total index value is 15 % and upwards absence of electromagnetic field effect is stated. EFFECT: surgeon obtains clear picture of efficiency of magnetotherapy among other methods for treating bone fractures in transosseous osteosynthesis. 2 tbl
