METHOD OF TREATING ACNE ROSACEA Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, dermatology and cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: object of invention is higher efficiency of treatment by stimulating nonspecific immunity, shorter treatment period and lower rate of relapses. Eessence of new method resides in locally treating skin portions affected by Demodex follicullorum tick by application of 0.08 to 0.1 per cent solution of sodium hypochlorite for 20 to 30 min four to six times a day and at the same time carrying out oxidized blood autohemotherapy on alternate days. New method teaches that administration should be started with injecting 12 ml venous blood and 2 ml of 0.04 to 0.06 per cent solution of sodium hypochlorite with subsequently stepping up ratio of sodium hypochlorite to venous blood up to 6 : 1 and then returning to original ratio. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy of acne rosacea aggravated by demodecosis treatment period reduced by 23.4 days; no deterioration of status was observed. 3 tbl
