PROCESS FOR TREATING PYODERMIA Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes daily carrying out intravenous autohemotherapy using oxidized blood. It includes such steps as intravenously administering 12 ml of venous blood and 2 ml of 0.04 - 0.06-percent solution of sodium hypochlorite 45 to 60 s after admixing above components, gradually increasing ratio between venous blood to sodium hypochlorite solution to 6 : 1, returning to original ratio with exposing venous autoblood to extracorporal ultraviolet radiation at wavelength of 254 nm and blood flow rate of 50 to 100 ml/min for 30 to 60 min during 3 to 10 days and treating affected portions of skin with 0.08 - 0.1-percent solution of sodium hypochlorite during 30 to 40 min from four to six times a day. Disclosed method prescribes repeated cure in severe pyodermia cases, and more specifically, carrying out intramuscular autohemotherapy using oxidized blood. Disclosed method permitted suppressing clinical manifestations of staphylodermia in 95.2 percent of test subjects after less than ten days and in solely 4.8 percent after more than ten days.
