FIELD: separation of bulk materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming of four or more, but even number only, flows oriented simultaneously in two directions. All the flows are angled to the chamber wall and to the axis of the chamber. The branches of flows are selectively directed to the chamber ends or to the center thereof. Device has a curvilinear housing comprised of two joined cones. The wall of the housing has a variable curved pitch. This fact makes it possible to have a high care of separation into fractions provided that the two cones are joined with their bases or apexes, ducts 10, 11 and exhaust ducts 3 with lips 8 are cut in at an angle, and hollow tube 6 is rotatably mounted in the middle of the housing. The technique described can be used for hydroseparation of materials. EFFECT: high productivity at the reduced energy cost. 3 dwg
