FIELD: search and prospecting operations for noble metals, extraction of these metals from bulk of rock. SUBSTANCE: procedure of proximate analysis of rocks tested for content of noble metals includes taking sample by formation of core, crushing and grounding of it to small and dust-like fractions without break of particles of metals and minerals included in rock whose hardness exceeds major part of tested rock. Sampling is conducted by physical method-by energy of dynamic gas jets. Rocks are processed between layers of working gas agent oriented tangentially. Separated metal inclusions of specified fractions are removed from working chamber to collecting hopper. Dust-like and small fractions are fed upwards for finer separation. All operations are carried out in one working space of equipment. Small fractions of minerals and small particles of metals are separated. Fraction carrying particles of noble metals is removed separately. EFFECT: increased adaptability of procedure to analysis of rocks, reduced time and enhanced efficiency of proximate analysis. 2 cl, 3 dwg
