FIELD: production of rubber articles. SUBSTANCE: less active coagulating agent is applied to the working surface of the mold. After drying of the coagulating agent, a layer is applied on the desired areas of the mold surface of one or several more active coagulating agents in the order of their activity increase. A latex mix is applied on the less active coagulating agent layer to produce thicker parts not larger than 1 mm. A more active coagulating agent is applied on the resulting latex film. To produce thicker parts of complex shapes, a more active coagulating agent is applied by rolling the form without slipping over the mold covered by coagulating agent layer. The device of the invention, a means for applying a more active coagulating agent is made in the form of a disk having slots, a drum mounted above a tank for the more less coagulating agent, and a mold having a convex pattern, all mounted on a common axle. The disk slots engage form holders. Spring-actuated smearing rollers are mounted on the drum. The mold is mounted for alternating engagement the smearing rollers and the forms. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 7 dwg
