FIELD: underground waste disposal sites enclosing. SUBSTANCE: method for enclosing a waste disposal site by means of a water insulating underground device shrouding the site on the underside includes steps of driving a water insulating main heading under the waste disposal site along its longitudinal axis; driving slot-like cuts adjacent to the waste disposal site directed toward the surface and filled with filler material. The method is characterized in that first ends of slot-like cuts are connected to the main heading and another slot-like cut ends are driven on the surface. The slot-like cuts are driven as a production heading by means of mining machines for stoping, a haulage device, and a support. The rocks broken off by heading are directed through the face entrance to the main heading and to the surface. The device of the invention includes a header having cutting drums, and a walking support section having hydraulic jacks and suspended girders. The header is installed for motion on a chain flight conveyor. The walking support jacks are provided, on the gob side, with a receiving device for rolls or coils of sealing film. The sealing film is disposed for motion through a slot between the girder gob end section and the face section of the roofing bearing box. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 12 cl, 8 dwg
