FIELD: coal mining technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to mining flat-lying coal seams with thickness of 1-2 m. According to method, created in sections of development workings is relieving zone, blast-holes are drilled in seam roof along line of stoping face between groups of power support units, anchors and upper beams of permanent support are installed. Full cross-section of underground workings is formed by blasting floor rocks with formation of gobbling strips between upper beams and installing posts of permanent support under them. Length of longwalls is calculated basing on amount of blasting floor rocks for each kind of workings. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 18 dwg
