FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, driven in ventilation level and transportation level over perimeter of kimberlite pipes are contouring drifts which are joined between each other by vertical ventilation. This method can be used for mining kimberlite pipes under zones of high flooding. According to method, drilled is raise for delivery of dry filling material to powered mining complex. Mining of block is carried out by powered complex layer-by-layer along spiral line in ascending order. Cutting operations in block are effected by means of tunnelling shield or cutter-loader combine integrated in powered mining complex. Ventilation drift is driven over perimeter of kimberlite pipe along spiral line in ascending order layer-by-layer. In driving ventilation drifts. opened are ventilation connections and effected through them is ventilation of space around powered mining complex. Cutting of kimberlite ore is effected by mining device in the form of skimmer by layers with thickness of 0.1-0.3 m through entire height of stratum under protection of powered support. To reduce power consumption during kimberlite cutting process and to reduce possible damage of crystals, kimberlite can be relieved of strength by means of chemical-static and chemical-dynamic processes. After extracting of each layer, worked-out space of stratum is filled with dry filling material. Final filling of worked-out area can be effected by injecting hardening solution between roof of kimberlite and upper layer of fill. For servicing of powered mining complex and delivery of ore, separate drift is arranged in fill. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 12 dwg
