FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: sensor has forming channel with emitter and ultrasonic vibrations receptor disposed at opposite sides of forming channel perpendicularly with respect to its longitudinal axis. Reflector mounted on working part of receptor has two concave working faces, which form rib at the zone of intersection of these faces. Rib is faced towards emitter. Casing made from sound- absorbing material and provided with window is mounted in body so that it embraces reflector. Receptor is secured on holder, which is mounted in body by means of finger for pivoting relative to finger. Finger longitudinal axis is aligned with reflector ribs. Holder has screw for retaining its angular position and for retaining receptor in a predetermined position relative to axis of ultrasonic beam. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
