FIELD: slide control works. SUBSTANCE: protective structure includes retaining structure buried into ground below sliding surface of landslide. Retaining structure is made in form of tunnel with caved roofing and provided with guard. Bearing capacity of roofing is within 1500 N/m (1500 kgf/m). Guard is made in form of curved shell opened towards landslide and secured to tunnel wall which is located on the side of landslide slope and rigidly connected to the other tunnel wall by means of stop.
