FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: retaining wall includes retaining structure with catching device, vertical guard wall and ceiling. Catching device is located in ground before retaining structure. They are made in form of vertical and horizontal U-shaped shells, respectively. Straight shell walls are connected by means of semicylindrical inserts facing downwards and towards fill ground. Lower wall of horizontal shell rigidly connected with straight wall of vertical shell. Vertical guard wall is rigidly connected with free end of straight vertical shell. Ceiling is located between walls of vertical shell in a spaced relation to them. Ceiling rests on cantilevers. Cantilevers are formed on walls of vertical shell. Ceiling offers bearing capacity within 150 kg/sq.m. Free ends of shell branches are connected by means of rings. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
