FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: drive half-clutch 1 and driven half-clutch 2 installed concentrically are coupled with the aid of flexible friction members 3 mounted on blocks 4 connected in pairs and positioned at acute angle with respect to each other and to carrier 5 attached to half-clutch 1. Pressure spring 7 is installed uniaxially to carrier 5 on which boss 6 attached to block 4 is put on. Friction force is created between half-clutch 2 and members 3 with the help of spring 7 and sue to it torque is transferred between half-clutches. EFFECT: improved reliability of safety friction clutch. 2 dwg
