FIELD: production of cellular materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes chemical deposition of electric conducting layer on cellular forms and electrochemical deposition of metal coating from electrolyte which is carried out at increasing current density from 0.05-0.40 A/sq.dm up to its stable value. At stable current density, metal coating is continued to obtain the required thickness, and then, cellular forms is removed by thermal treatment. In so doing, ion concentration gradient in electrolyte at its surface and in space of cellular forms is maintained at level of not in excess of 10% . This gradient limit is maintained by pumping of electrolyte through cellular forms and bubbling. Thickness of metal coating on cellular material is preset by standard curves.
