FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has two coaxial gearshifting cylinders arranged symmetrically relative to geometrical axis of housing and two gear selection cylinders of diameter smaller than that of gearshifting cylinders and arranged above gearshifting cylinders. Cylinders are arranged on base in common housing and are secured on gearbox cover in zone of gearbox rods. Placed coaxially inside each cylinder are different diameter pistons with sealing members. Smaller diameter pistons are connected with axles-rods closing in middle part on lever whose tailpiece gets into slots in gearbox rods. Cylinders are closed at ends by covers and form, together with covers and pistons, closed working spaces communicating with supply lines of electropneumatic valves arranged directly in cylinder sockets to increase reliability and quick response of device. To increase accuracy of lever positioning, mechanism has position sensors installed in cylinder covers. Mechanism has also electropneumatic valves to control clutch, fuel feed and engine shutoff connected with corresponding actuating mechanisms. Main members of mechanism are covered by protective casing to enhance reliability. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, accuracy and response of gearshift mechanism. 22 cl, 29 dwg
