FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: intention relates to devices for control of power unit of vehicles with mechanical gearbox. Proposed automatic gearshift mechanism contains two coaxial gearshift cylinders and two coaxial smaller diameter selector cylinders. Axles-rods for gearshifting and gear selecting are installed in cylinders. End parts of selecting axle-rod are made in form of pistons, and slot is provided in its middle part. Pistons are secured on ends of gearshifting axle-rods. Pistons of larger type-size are installed coaxially along inner diameter of cylinders. Grooves for sealing members are made on outer and inner surfaces of pistons. Gearshift lever is fitted, out of zone of cylinder working spaces, on gearshifting axle-rod. Said lever can turn through required angle on gearshifting axle-rod. Protective screen is secured in lower part of housing of mechanism of gearshift lever. Said screen consists of two cylindrical parts. Inner part of screen is provided with longitudinal slot for movement of gearshift lever.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased service life of gearshift mechanism.
