FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: coaxial flange coupling parts 1,2 are tightened with bolts 3 mounted without gaps within axial openings of the flanges. One surface of flange butts of coupling parts 1,2 is a ring groove and the other is an answered ring projection. The projection and groove are drawn by a circumferential arc and positioned in zone of the bolts. EFFECT: enhanced loading capabilities of the coupling. 3 dwg
