FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical rod 3 is received in the axial space between coaxial shafts 1 and 2 to be joined. The ends of the shaft face each other. The shaped ends of rod 3 are positioned in the answered grooves made in the end faces of the shafts and defined by arcs of circumferences. The diameter of one of the circumference arc is less than the length of rod 3, and the diameter of the other circumference arc exceeds the mentioned length. The center of the second circumference arc is shifted in the radial direction with respect to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of rod 3. The ends of rod 3 are defined by circumference arcs in the direction perpendicular to the mentioned direction. The diameter of the circumference arcs exceeds the length of the rod. In vibration operation, spontaneous disengaging of rod 3 and shafts 1 and 2 is excluded owing to shifting centers of arcs of the shaping circumference with respect to the center of gravity. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
