FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: coil is placed into impregnation chamber. Leads of coil are located in upper part of chamber and are laid to form one or several loops. Coil in chamber is potted in dielectric varnish with part of loop left free of varnish. Chamber is heated, air is evacuated from it several times and inert gas is pumped into it. After impregnation insulated coil is removed from chamber by way of its destruction. EFFECT: improved efficiency and quality of insulation of coils.
