FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes determining degree of variation of functional activity of cardiovascular system immediately after standardized dosed negative compression of eyeballs (at pressure of 10 to 60 mm Hg during 5 to 60 s) proportional to vegetative reactivity of sympathetic section of vegetative nervous system. EFFECT: this method allows scaling up accuracy of examining sympathetic section of vegetative nervous system and diagnosing central vegetative regulation disorders, reducing possibility of emergence of undesired side effects and preventing complication of glaucoma. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 6 tbl
