FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has table, movable carriage with spools of binding material, fastening mechanism, and mechanism for closing ends of binding material. F-shaped frame of the carriage is mounted on guides positioned perpendicularly to the path of travel of workpieces on the table. Upper cantilevers of the carriage carry pulleys for binding material, whereas end portions of lower cantilevers have clamps in the form of spring-loaded eccentrics. Closing arrangement is fashioned as rod with drive located under upper cantilevers of the carriage. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in operation. 6 cl, 7 dwg
