FIELD: railroad transport. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a power cylinder, working for stretching and contraction; rail catches, connected to each other through the power cylinder and two pullings; wedging members, located in rail catches. Catches have flap sides and a bolt tightening with turning aside nut on semiaxes. Each wedging member has X-shaped form with T-shaped groove at the end. The groove is directed to the joint. One of the pullings is rigidly connected with the body of the power cylinder, another one - with rod of the cylinder. Ends of the pullings have T-shaped form and are placed in corresponding grooves of the wedging members. EFFECT: apparatus is used for forcible discharge of tensions in railway sections. 3 dwg
